Group and Birthday Party Adoptions

One Family Membership will be offered to groups adopting in the $500 or $1,000 categories. If the adoption is a gift, the membership applies only to the recipient and family.

One behind-the-scenes tour with a Birch Aquarium aquarist will be offered to groups adopting in the $1,000 category. The tour may include up to 8 people. If the adoption is a gift, the tour will be offered only to the recipient and up to 7 guests.

All adoption contributions are considered donations to Birch Aquarium at Scripps and are 100% tax-deductible. No refunds will be given.

To contribute online:

• 1) Click here.
• 2) Write "Fund #4377" in the box that asks for Donation Area/Fund Number.
• 3) Click the appropriate occasion in the Commemorative Gift section.
• 4) If you are part of a group, write "part of group adoption of (fish species) in Birch Aquarium Adopt-A-Fish program" in the Comments box.
• 5) If you are contributing a partial amount toward a gift adoption, write "contribution toward Birch Aquarium Adopt-A-Fish gift for (recipient)" in the Comments box.
