Birthday Parties 

Thank you for your interest in birthday parties at the Birch Aquarium at Scripps! Our parties are designed for ages 2-9. Our goal is to provide an educational and fun experience for the birthday child and guests.

Each Party Includes

• Aquarium admission for paid participants
• Private party room with Birch Aquarium Instructor
• Live animal encounter
• Aquarium tour with Instructor relating to party theme
• 30 minutes party patio time for cake and snacks (we do not provide cake and snacks)
• Take-home crafts for children relating to party theme
• Age-appropriate gift for children
• Three hours of free parking
• Decorations (table cloths, birthday banners)

• Up to 20 participants - $400 / $360 Member
• Up to 25 participants - $500 / $450 Member
• Up to 30 participants - $600 / $540 Member
• One adult required for every five children under the age of 12
• Participants include children and adults
• No more than 30 participants per party

• Parties may be booked no more than three months in advance and minimum of two weeks advance booking is required.
• Birthday parties must be paid in full at the time of booking. If you have additional guests that were not paid for in advance, you may pay for them upon check-in. Please keep in mind that we allow a maximum of 30 guests, which includes children & adults.
• At least two weeks notice is required to change your date.
